Kuala Lumpur, 26 August 2025 – MG Motor Malaysia is proud to announce that the MG Cyberster, the brand’s first all-electric roadster will be part of the EV car contingent led by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) at the upcoming 68th Merdeka Day Parade on 31 August 2025 in Putrajaya.

Adorned with a special MITI decal, the MG Cyberster will parade alongside other EV brands in a show of collective support for Malaysia’s electrification agenda and the government’s vision for sustainable mobility.

As the only all-electric roadster in the contingent, the Cyberster represents MG’s bold step into the future of mobility. With roots in British sports car heritage for the new era of electrification, the Cyberster symbolises a unique blend of history and innovation making its Merdeka Day debut even more meaningful.
