Built right into your MG, MG Pilot monitors your surroundings, reacts to the unexpected, and takes care of the little things-so you can focus on the good parts of driving.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
LDW can detect visible lane markers clearly using the front camera and activates when the car speed reaches 60km/h or more. If the wheels are close to or overlapping a lane marker, the system will alert the driver with an audio alarm. Additionally, the dashboard warning light will indicate the side overlapping the line, and the steering wheel will vibrate to prompt the driver to input steering corrections.
Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
LKA detects the left and right lane markers clearly with the front camera. It automatically adjusts the steering wheel angle to keep the car in the middle of the lane. LKA is activated when the speed reaches 60km/h. If the system detects that the driver is not continuously controlling the steering wheel, it will send an alarm and display warnings on the instrument panel to remind the driver to keep hold of the steering wheel.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
ACC helps control driving speeds and automatically adjusts the speed to maintain a proper distance from the vehicle in front. Cruise control can be set between 30 – 150km/h with 3 distance settings to ensure separation from the vehicle ahead. If there is no other vehicle on the road, ACC will maintain the set speed. However, when it encounters a slower vehicle, the system will slow down to match the speed of that vehicle while maintaining a safe distance set by the driver
Traffic Jam Assist (TJA)
Activate Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) by pulling the Cruise Control lever towards you twice to engage Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). TJA uses a camera and radar to detect lanes and maintain a safe distance. During slow traffic, TJA will automatically match the speed of the vehicle ahead to facilitate ease of driving. However, the driver must remain alert, stay in control, and be observant of the surroundings while the system is deployed to ensure maximum safety.
Intelligent High – Beam Control (IHC)
IHC uses the front camera to detect light intensity on the surrounding roads. The system automatically turns on the high beam when there are no lights around and no lights from other vehicles. If the system detects lights from vehicles ahead, it automatically switches off the high beam to avoid disturbing other drivers. When there is no vehicle ahead, IHC will reactivate the high beam to provide a clearer vision for the driver.
Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
BSD detects vehicles in blind spots on both left and right side mirrors. If a vehicle is detected, BSD will illuminate a bright warning light to alert the driver and prevent a potential collision. It activates when the speed exceeds 30 km/h.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
While reversing, RCTA will detect approaching vehicles on both the left and right rear. If RCTA detects a vehicle approaching, a warning light appears on the side where the vehicle is approaching. A warning symbol will also appear on the instrument panel, alerting the driver to potential collision. It activates when the speed is below 9km/h.
