SAIC Motor Malaysia is thrilled to announce the official pricing for the highly anticipated all-new MG HS now available in both Standard and Lux variants with attractive starting prices of RM129,900 and RM145,900 respectively. The MG HS elevates automotive aesthetics to new heights, featuring a stunning design that captivates onlookers and embodies elegance on the road.
The new MG HS debuts a sharper, more aggressive appearance. At the front, Bi-Functional LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL), a bold grille, and a redesigned bumper establish the HS as MG’s most luxurious SUV. At the rear, a redefined bumper with dual exhaust outlets, LED taillights, and a sporty spoiler complete the dynamic styling, alongside 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
To further enhance its sporty appeal, the MG HS includes exclusive features1 such as red brake callipers and a “Super Sport” button, adding a dynamic touch to the driving experience.
Inside, the vehicle offers 64 ambient lighting options, a panoramic sunroof, and Sport seats that emphasise its spacious and performance-oriented feel, respectively. For connectivity, the HS features a 12.3-inch virtual cluster display with four themes, a 10.1-inch high-resolution infotainment display with a 360˚ camera, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MG iSMART phone connectivity for easy control of various functions.
For added convenience, it provides 463 litres of cargo space—expandable to 1,287 litres with the rear seats folded—and a power tailgate. The interior also includes 60/40 split-folding and reclining rear seats, plus roof rails supporting up to 50 kg.
Under the hood, the MG HS is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed twin-clutch transmission delivering up to 162 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is designed with a lifespan of up to 320,000 kilometres.
Safety remains paramount with the MG HS, which is equipped with 6 SRS airbags and a suite of MG PILOT advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including Front Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assistance, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Door Opening Warning, providing peace of mind on every journey.
Customers can choose from four exterior colours: Black Pearl, Arctic White, Camden Grey, and Dynamic Red2. All are paired with black upholstery featuring premium soft-touch leather and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
